Get the Most Out of Your X-Plane Demo

To make sure you have the best experience possible with X-Plane, we’d like to email you free, detailed instructions on installing and setting up the demo. In addition to these instructions, we’ll send you a series of emails over the course of the next month packed with information on getting the most out of X-Plane.

In this course, we’ll tell you how you can:

  • add new aircraft to X-Plane for free,
  • shoot approaches to your favorite runways,
  • test your mettle in emergency situations with failed equipment,
  • customize your own airports and aircraft for free, and more!

Plus, we’ll send you 5 free aircraft models right now!

We promise to never spam you, and we will never sell or share your email address. And, if you ever change your mind, you can unsubscribe at any time.

Once again, this course on getting the most out of your home flight simulator has no strings attached and is completely free.

What to do when the download is complete

  1. When your download finishes, open the “X-Plane11InstallerPlatform.zip” (where Platform might be Windows, Mac, or Linux).
  2. Inside “X-Plane11InstallerPlatform.zip”, double-click on the X-Plane Installer.
  3. At this point, the installer will then guide you through the (approximately 8.5 GB) download. Note that, by default, it will create a folder called “X-Plane 11” on your Desktop.
  4. To launch X-Plane after the installer finishes, just double-click the X-Plane 11 application in the “X-Plane 11” folder.
