It is not such a bad thing... but it is not QUITE a natural Lancair.

SOOOOO, my build-shop, RDD, developed a fairing to go on the tail to make it look like a Lancair.

And here I go installing and trimming it:

First drop the tail-mod into place and drill some holes through the fairing and right into the body:

The back as well:

Now take this cleco:

And run it through the hole to hold the fairing in place on the body:

Back, too:

Now tape off where the front of the fairing will be trimmed:

And trim away!

Trim away! Easy!
