The development video below shows a number of aircraft, all piloted by the X-Plane 10 artificial intelligence system, interacting with the new air traffic control system. Since the video was taken in the course of testing the ATC system, the scenery you see here is that of Version 9. Of note in the video are the variety of large and small aircraft, as well as the smoothness of the departure and approach operations. The overall logic displayed is convincingly human.
Note that this video was captured on a single desktop computer equipped with a quad-core CPU; a similar level of performance should be achievable by most home users with a moderately new computer.
