Download the free X-Plane 12 demo

Using the X-Plane installer below, you can install the free X-Plane 12 demo. Simply:

  1. Download the X-Plane Installer.
  2. Unzip the file when it finishes downloading.
  3. Run the newly unzipped installer.

One installer, all of X-Plane 12

The same installer you used to install the demo can also be used to

  • update an existing copy of X-Plane, or
  • install an X-Plane product purchase.

If you need help, you can get instructions on installing X-Plane from DVDs or installing the X-Plane digital download.

Note: Steam users should only update through Steam.
